Sat 7th August

Rain at last! it’s been one of the dryest winters so far in the cape but these timely rains bode well for the weekends festival. Bring it on!

Wed 4th August

Just confirmed with Billy from ARK that we will have 4 x 4 man rafts to play with at the festival! These rafts have been sponsored by local companies with the eye on rejuvinating the Rafting interest in SA and to get a team together and compete at the next worlds in South America.

Wed 28th July
In keeping with the environmental focus of the Festival, and because the Festival is taking place in an incredibly sensitive environment (the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve), we have partnered with Global Carbon Exchange (GCX) to assess the carbon footprint of the Festival. As part of this initiative, travel and accommodation information for all participants needs to be collected. Once all this info has been collected and collated, we will then select a relevant local carbon offsetting project to contribute to and ensure that the Festival is carbon neutral. We hope that this initiative will go some way towards us taking care of our environment whilst enjoying what it has to offer us.

Film Festival Preveiw is schedualed for Friday night 8.30pm. Get your entries in to Gravity Adventures. DVD , Flash drive on the day is the only format we will accept. Big prizes for top honours!

Wed 21st June
Tri-Active , our catering and bar suppliers are secured and preparing for this years event. The bar and food services will be available from the Friday afternoon all the way through to Sunday afternoon. SAB have sponsored 10 cases of HANSA to be used for spot prizes and organisers. Luke from SAB is also setting us up with a full bar with fridges and tables. Big up to SAB.

Wed 14th June
Camping section increaced for the 2010 Festival to accommodate more overnighters. Gravity has secured a large portion of the Palmiet Caravan park,which joins on to the day camp wher the Festival Hub will be hosted, for camping. the site is perfect with good ablutions and estalished sites with ample parking. The site is also more secure than in previous years and allows campers the option to get away from the noise of the event and enjoy the campsite with families and freinds.

Freestyle event to go forward for this years festival. Start Sat 14th 10h00 to 12h00.
